GlobalMed is launching its first call for applications for short research or research training stays within the network. These missions must take place between May 1, 2025 and October 31, 2025.

These will be short missions (1 week - 10 days maximum) hosted by network partners, at the MMSH or abroad, to carry out research in line with one of the network's thematic axes: 

• Perspectives on the Mediterranean

• Connections (geographical and human) to and from the Mediterranean

• The Mediterranean as a point of comparison with other parts of the world.

This type of mission should fulfill at least two of the following objectives:

• Participation in a scientific event or research training activity

• A working session with partners to forge new collaborations or prepare an application.

• The identification of bibliographic resources, archival holdings or fieldwork.

Candidates must : 

• be research staff attached to one of the GlobalMed network's partner institutions

• Have prepared their mission with the host institution (letter of acceptance).

The deadline for applications is April 4th, 2025 (5PM UTC+1).
