AspirE final conference – Registration is open! ✨

After almost three years of research, the AspirE project is approaching its conclusion. To mark this milestone, we are gathering researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society actors for our final conference titled "Migration decision-making in Asia-Europe social spaces" on 11 and 12 December 2025.

The AspirE project is happy to present its final findings, marking a 3-year long collaboration between partners in Asia and Europe. For this, you are warmly invited to join the AspirE final conference, a 2-day event on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 December 2025.

DAY 1 - Thursday 11/12

The main findings of the project will be presented by the local research teams. The sessions will feature expert chairs and discussants, and the day will conclude with a roundtable discussion involving representatives from AspirE's sister projects. This event will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and community members to reflect on the project's findings, share experiences, and discuss future pathways for humanising migration governance.

DAY 2 - Friday 12/12

The visual outputs of the research findings will be showcased in the form of an exhibition. This will include comic book illustrations based on the project, as well as the screening of a documentary film. A visit to the Parlamentarium is planned in the afternoon, if you wish to join, please contact Catherine Gonzalez by 17/11.
