PhD Student
Fanny Arnulf is a PhD student and assistant in political science at ULB. Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art Dramatique de Montpellier (ENSAD), she participated in different artistic productions before starting a PhD in political science in 2019, attached to CEVIPOL. Her research focuses on the Middle East and Latin America and examines the link between art and resistance in marginalized spaces. Fanny is currently writing a thesis on theatre as a tool of resistance in the favelas in Brazil and the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Her research questions the capacity of theatre to act as a tool for politicization, militant engagement, and social emancipation in marginalized spaces.
