Nicolas Baygert holds a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences from Université Paris-Sorbonne (CELSA) and UCLouvain. He teaches political communication at IHECS, Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and Sciences Po Paris.
Since 2016, he has directed Protagoras, a Brussels-based think tank dedicated to research and innovation in political and public communication. His current work explores technopopulism within the MAGA movement and the digital dynamics of the Alt-Right.

He is also a regular media commentator on American political communication and the transformations of leadership in the digital age.
