Nadège Broustau

Nadège Broustau holds the Chair in Public Communication in the Department of Information and Communication Sciences at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and is an associate professor in the Department of Social and Public Communication at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). A researcher at the Research Center in Information and Communication (ReSIC), she conducts studies on the construction of media and public representations. Her current research focuses on the invisibility of psychotrauma in the public space, in particular the lack of knowledge and acknowledgment of its implications on health communication levels as well as on political communication and lobbying levels, and digital public diplomacy in relation to human rights, particularly in the case of the war in Ukraine. Her work aims at cross-perspectives between Europe (especially Belgium and France) and North America (Quebec, Canada, United States).
