Martín Zavaleta

After studying architecture, urban planning, and graphic design, Martín Zavaleta worked for several years as an independent architect and designer in Lima, his hometown. Later, following several trips to Europe, he decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Art History and Archaeology (Université libre de Bruxelles and Université catholique de Louvain).

He is currently continuing his research on the artistic and cultural links developed between Flanders and Latin America during the Early Modern period. He has also worked as a teacher and collaborated with NGOs both in Peru and in Belgium.
