Martin Grandjean is a Research Fellow in Contemporary History at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), where he teaches digital history, as well as at EPFL. His research focuses on the analysis of large historical datasets using computational methods, with particular attention to how historians use network analysis and visualisation to explore these datasets. A specialist in the history of international organisations, he currently works on the “Impresso – Media Monitoring of the Past” project, which develops an interface for browsing and analysing large collections of newspaper articles.
