Marie Lachapelle holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from HEC Montréal. She is currently serving as Scientist-in-Residence at the Québec Government Office in Brussels, where her role is to support scientific diplomacy through partnerships, mobility, and the academic outreach of Québec in the Benelux region.

A distinctive aspect of her mandate is her affiliation with the Université libre de Bruxelles and the AmericaS center. Her presence at ULB reflects the importance of the ties between Québec and Brussels’ largest university. The objective is to facilitate the development of joint projects between Québec academic stakeholders and ULB.
