Kerry-Jane Wallart has been Professor of American (Caribbean, US, and Canadian) and Anglophone postcolonial literatures at the University of Orléans since 2019. Her research focuses in particular on genre hybridity, diasporic authors, transcultural dynamics, and ecofeminisms.

She has co-edited a volume on Jamaica Kincaid (Wagadu, 2019), as well as two volumes on Jean Rhys (Bloomsbury, 2020, and Routledge, 2022). She is President of the AFEA/SAES Research Prize; principal investigator of the ECOGEN project (in partnership with the University of Geneva and the University of Maribor); and, since 2023, Editor-in-Chief of the online journal Postcolonial Literatures and Arts.
