John Nieuwenhuys

A graduate in interdisciplinary European studies, John Nieuwenhuys has taught as an assistant at the Institute for European Studies (IEE), History and Cultures of Europe section, and at the Department of Political Science at ULB. His doctoral research in contemporary history focuses on the Palestinian question as a source of social mobilization and conflict in Belgium from 1948 to the present day. They have received the support of the Fonds pour la Recherche en Sciences Humaines (FRESH), an associated fund of the F.R.S.-FNRS, and their results will be presented in 2020.
