Edouard Degay Delpeuch
Edouard Degay Delpeuch holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a PhD in Ethnology and Social Anthropology from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
In his dissertation, he conducted an ethnographic study of a musical procession group called Khun Narin Sin Phin Prayuk, internationally known as the Khun Narin Electric Phin Band. From Thailand to the global stage, his research explores the processes through which music is created through circulation and how cultural boundaries are renegotiated through music.
Edouard Degay Delpeuch is a member of the Laboratory of Anthropology of Contemporary Worlds (LAMC) and an associate member of the Southeast Asia Center (CASE).
