Ayşen Uysal is a Professor of Political Science at Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey and an associate researcher at CERI, CRESPPA-CSU and IFEA in Istanbul. She was a recipient of the PAUSE Programme and, as part of this programme, worked as a contract researcher at Sciences Po Paris-CERI from 2020 to 2022. Her research focuses on collective action, state control of street demonstrations, political engagement, and political party networks in Turkey. Her current research examines state surveillance and denunciation.
