Full-time assistant and PhD student in political science at the Université Saint-Louis, Brussels. My thesis focuses on the government of Syrian mobility in Belgium since the 1970s. In order to contribute to the study of Syrian migration in Belgium, this research adopts a longer historical perspective, i.e. it aims to study Syrian mobility to Belgium from the 1970s to the present. It questions the trajectories of mobility, the government of itinerancy, the integration of the different Syrian migratory flows in Belgium, in order to understand how the more recent refugees have been inserted into Belgian reception policies.
