Corinne Torrekens holds a PHD in political and social sciences. Her researches are linked to the insertion of Islam in Belgium (and more generally in Europe) with a special focus on political participation, religious practices , radicalisation processes, public debates and racialisation dynamics. She is also director of the Group for research on Ethnic Relations, Migration and Equality (GERME) and an affiliated member of OMAM.
