Les Grands Petits Belges (Podcast)
Do we really know our own history?
"Les Grands Petits Belges" (Great Little Belgians) is a podcast created by Eve Filée that shines a light on the famous—and often forgotten—Belgian figures who have shaped the country's history.
Narrated as a series of stories, each episode focuses on a significant historical figure from Belgium, drawing on both existing scholarship and newly uncovered archival sources that have received little or no previous attention. The project invites a broad audience to rediscover Belgium's rich human heritage, which often remains little known even to Belgians themselves.
The research is carried out as part of the ARC project "The Artist, The Scientist, The Industrialist", led by the MODERNITAS research centre (Faculty of Letters, Translation and Communication) and hosted by the Maison des Sciences Humaines (MSH) at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
