The EU-funded project Remote Ethnography of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Methodology and Research Capacity Building (REMOTE XUAR) has recently launched its website.
The website of the REMOTE XUAR project, coordinated by Vanessa Frangville (EASt) along with Rune Steenberg from Palacký University (Czech Republic) and Björn Alpermann from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Germany), is finally up and running! The project aims to shed light on the situation of the Uyghur population in the Chinese region of Xinjiang through remote ethnography methods.
