Wen He

He Wen holds a PhD in Chinese Language and Literature from Aix-Marseille University. Her dissertation, defended in 2022, focuses on the translation of literary heterolingualism from Chinese into French, based on the case of the Wu language in the late Qing novel Haishanghua liezhuan (Biographies of Shanghai Flowers) by Han Bangqing.

Her research spans fields ranging from translation studies to dialectology, as well as literature and literary translation. She also works as a translator from Chinese into French.

She currently teaches Sinophone literature and contemporary Chinese society at ULB, as well as consecutive interpreting at the Marie Haps Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (UCLouvain).
