Taher Labadi

Taher Labadi is a researcher in political economy at the French Institute of the Near East (Ifpo), based in Jerusalem. His work explores the intertwined dynamics of capitalism, colonialism, and forms of resistance in Palestine and the broader Middle East. He focuses in particular on agricultural policies, labour governance, and special economic zones, understood as instruments of economic governance and territorial reconfiguration.
More broadly, his research examines the knowledge, practices, and institutions that shape economic life in contexts of domination and struggle.
