Pierre-Guillaume Méon

Pierre-Guillaume Méon is a Professor of Economics at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) since 2004. He obtained his PhD in 1999 from the University Robert Schuman (Strasbourg, France).

His research lies in the field of political economy. He has worked on the political economy of monetary policy and monetary integration, the institutional dimensions of economic development, corruption, and democratic transitions. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Economic History, the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Public Choice, the European Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Comparative Economics, and the Journal of International Money & Finance.

He is also a member of the editorial board of Public Choice and the European Journal of Political Economy.
