Petra Willerthová is a double graduate of the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno, where she earned Master’s degrees in Art History and in Aesthetics and Cultural Studies. She completed her PhD in Theory and History of Art at the same institution in 2024, with a dissertation focused on the Sokol gymnastic movement in the Czech and Polish lands between 1862 and 1938. She currently works as a professional editor specializing in art history in the Publishing Department of the National Gallery in Prague.
