Eugénie Stoclet

PhD Student

With a dual bachelor’s degree in Law and Geography, followed by a master’s degree in Geopolitics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the École Normale Supérieure (ENS Ulm), Eugénie Stoclet is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Environmental Management and Land-Use Planning (IGEAT) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her dissertation examines the relationship between climate change adaptation, water management, and the dynamics of conflict and cooperation, with a particular focus on the Syr Darya River from the perspective of Kyrgyzstan. She investigates opportunities for adaptation in a context already marked by tensions over water management, positioning her research at the intersection of environmental studies and geopolitics.
