Aude Merlin

Aude Merlin is a lecturer in Political Science, a member of CEVIPOL, and a specialist in Russia and the Caucasus. She defended her PhD at Sciences Po Paris in 2006 on identity transformations in the North Caucasus.

After working extensively on the Chechen conflict, she has focused her research on the trajectories of combatants in the conflicts of the South Caucasus, while also examining issues related to representations and the memory of conflicts. In parallel, she has engaged in research on the Chechen diaspora.
