MODERNITAS is delighted to welcome Prof. Béatrice Joyeux-Prunel for a round table bringing together the different research projects currently underway. These include the Margins of Modernity platform, which makes the data collected within the ARC project "The Artist, the Scientist and the Industrialist" interactively explorable, as well as the data and visualizations developed within the PDR project "La Belgique 'lue' en tchèque et en allemand". The discussion aims to put the digital side of MODERNITAS's work into dialogue with Prof. Joyeux-Prunel's projects Artl@s and Visual Contagions. The conversation will focus on the methods and questions these projects share: collecting and extracting research data, making it accessible and reusable, and data using visualization to reveal new findings and share them with a wider audience.
