The MODERNITAS research centre invite for it's exhibition “Belgian Crossings. The Avant-Garde Adventures of Belgian Books in Central and Eastern Europe”.

The exhibition is devoted to the reception of Belgian literature and culture in Central and Eastern Europe. The displayed prints and archival materials demonstrate how books re-published in a new geopolitical context became far more progressive, if not revolutionary, through their new readers.

The vernissage will take place on 6 October 2026 at 18.00 in Hall des Marbres (AX1.216), Campus de Solbosch, Université libre de Bruxelles.
