EASt opens the new academic year with Magali Bugne, professor of Japanese studies at ULB, who will give a talk on "Popular Culture and Noh Theatre: Negotiating Adaptation on Japanese Traditional Stage".

Magali Bugne is professor in Japanese studies at ULB since September 2025. Previously, she was a Lecturer at Teikyô University, Tokyo.
