Thomas Berns

Thomas Berns teaches political philosophy and Renaissance philosophy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Philosopher of politics, laws and norms in the broad sense, he is among other things the author of Gouverner sans gouverner. Une archéologie politique de la statistique (PUF, 2009), Du courage. Une histoire philosophique (Editions des Belles Lettres, 2010) and La guerre des philosophes (PUF, 2019). His current work focuses on new forms of normativity.
