Stuart White is a Fellow in Politics at Jesus College, and University Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations, Oxford University. His research interests include normative political economy and democratic theory. He has published on topics such as universal basic income, inheritance tax, the state and trade unionism, and the place of Citizens' Assemblies in a democracy. He is the author of The Civic Minimum (2003), Equality (2006), co-edited (with Bruno Leipold and Karma Nabulsi), Radical Republicanism: Retrieving the Tradition's Popular Heritage (2020), and he is currently working on a forthcoming book, The Wealth of Freedom: Radical Republican Political Economy.
