Renaud Maes holds a PhD in Science (Gold, Physics, 2010) and a PhD in Social and Political Sciences (or Labor Sciences, 2014). He coordinated the "valorisation of experience acquired" unit of ULB's continuing education service, before becoming a researcher at the Observatoire de la Vie étudiante. He joined, from January 2015, the Collectif formation société (CFS) and the Université Populaire de Bruxelles. His work focuses on the social action of higher education and the reproduction of social inequalities, social work, squats and extreme precariousness, prostitution, pornography and sports halls.
