Pierre-Guillaume Méon

Pierre-Guillaume Méon has been Professor of Economics at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) since 2004. He obtained his PhD in 1999 from the Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg, France).
His work is in the field of political economy, with contributions on the political economy of monetary policy, corruption, and democratic transitions. His work touches upon cultural economics too, with work on the economics of religion and literary prizes. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Economic History, the Journal of Industrial Economics, the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Public Choice, the European Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Comparative Economics, or the Journal of International Money & Finance.
He is also a member of the editorial board of Public Choice and the European Journal of Political Economy.
