Juliette Lafosse

Graduated in philosophy, ethics and political science, Juliette Lafosse has a doctorate in political philosophy. Author of a thesis entitled "Faire droit à la guerre: une lecture juridique de la Première guerre mondiale", her main research subjects are the First World War and the meaning of international law, the conceptual relationship of war to law, the legal pacifism, neutrality, etc. Assistant professor at EPHEC University and guest lecturer at Saint Louis Brussels University, she is also a substitute teacher at the Free University of Brussels and scientific collaborator of the center for political theory (CTP) and the Institute for Peace. (PPI). Sensitive to the instrumentalization and effects of warlike rhetoric, she mobilizes the history of philosophy to shed light on the contemporary issues of war.
