Gwennaël Gaffric is Assistant Professor of Chinese Language and Literature at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France). His PhD thesis was about ecological issues in Taiwan literature. He is vice-president of the Association Francophone d’Etudes Taïwanaises (AFET). He is also translator and currently works on Chinese, Hongkongese and Taiwanese contemporary literatures, especially in the field of science fiction. His research interests include literary studies (especially science fiction), ecocriticism, postcolonialism, and translation studies.
