Gustavo Gomes da Costa

Gustavo Gomes da Costa holds a master's degree and a PhD degree in Political Science from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. He is currently post-doctoral fellow at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). He is also Lecturer of sociology at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Brazil and affiliate researcher at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He works on issues of social movements, NGOs and collective action and political parties in Latin America and Africa. He also works with issues of gender, sexuality, homophobia and LGBT’s human rights, as well as post-colonial studies.
