Elliana (Elli-Anastasia) Lamprianidou

Elliana is a doctoral researcher in the SAFE-SORRY project, a research project funded by the European Research Council, which aims to understand parenthood in a changing social world. After completing her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Aristotle in Thessaloniki (Greece), Elliana moved to Belgium and obtained a Master's degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Interested in questions of gender and intersectionality, she studies parenthood from a gender perspective that takes into account the wider social and cultural milieu, as well as the increased pressures placed on contemporary parents - and mothers in particular.
