The aim of this presentation is to investigate the connection between negativ- ity and emptiness in order to discern di erent modalities of emptiness based on the distinction between substantive and verb. By analyzing oppositional di- chotomies (e.g., positive/negative, true/false, being/nothing), I will try to open the way to conceptualize the creative negativity of this ‘be-tween’ and conse- quently try to structure a certain logic of the betweenness as third path be- tween contraries.
