Hello Asia is a multimedia art project portraying the upcoming generation of millennials in East Asia. It searches for common ground and a new narrative shared by millennials in the Eastern and Western parts of the world. The team traveled to six Asian cities in six weeks to meet a generation of changemakers. These travels have led to a theatrical lecture-performance in which Lucas De Man takes the audience on a fascinating trip through six megacities in Asia — Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

In ‘Meet the Millennials’, Lucas shows the mind-blowing effects of radical, fast forward thinking change. It is the story of a taboo-breaking generation in East and West.

Lucas De Man is a creator, concept developer, presenter, guest chairman, playwright and director. He is the founder and artistic director of Stichting Nieuwe Helden and presenter of the AvroTros programme Kunstuur. He also gives lectures and makes appearances as a host, presenter and guest chairman.
