A collaboration with Waseda University

This annual conference on EU-Japan affairs is co-organized by Waseda University, as well as the Institut d’études européennes (IEE) and the Centre for East Asian Studies(EASt) both at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The 2025 iteration of the forum will include a series of scientific panels focusing on: (1) comparative analyses of European and Japan policies in the fields of both higher education and migration; (2) the institutional and policy content of the EU-Japan interregional relationship itself; and (3) comparative historiographies of Japanese and European contributions to the development of contemporary international law.
