Conference "Reading Old Manuscripts as a Biologist and Archaeologist"

The biological material of parchments carries a message: the life history of the animals whose skins were used. Matthew Collins, McDonald Professor in Palaeoproteomics at the University of Cambridge, will explore how we can detect and interpret this message in his upcoming talk at the Université libre de Bruxelles, "Reading Old Manuscripts as a Biologist and Archaeologist".
