Graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak Republic (1998 Slovak Language and Literature); 2002 PhD. in Theory and History of Slovak Literature at Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava; 1998 - present: Institute of Slovak Literature of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava; 2008 - 2015: Chair of the 20th Century Slovak Literature Research Department; 2018 - present: Chair of the Department of Literary History. His research focuses on Modernism and Avant-Gardes in Slovak Literature and Culture of the 1920s and 1930s. The Prose of the Slovak Left-Wing Avant-Garde, 2023. His own poetic works includes several books of poetry and were published and presented in many European countries.
