Ariane Amado

Ariane Amado is a fellow researcher in the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in France working in the Centre d’Histoire judiciaire of the University of Lille. She is also a guest lecturer in Law in the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She has a PHD in Comaprative Prison Law on the Legal Framework of Mothers and Children in prison in a comparative approach between France and England from the University Paris Sorbonne (Paris 1- Panthéon Sorbonne). She is a specialist of Prison Law and penal policies in a comparative approach between France, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
